Following an apprenticeship at the Hessian Financial Administration, Frank Bemfert studied Economics at the University of Kassel with a focus on taxes, finance, and auditing. The economist has been a tax advisor since 2002. In 2007 he was appointed to the post of auditor.

Frank Bemfert, born in 1968, is a HSV-fan and an active soccer player in his local club “TSV 1920 Geismar / Frankenberg”, where he plays on the adult team.
